What is CPPP?

The Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP), maintained by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) under the Ministry of Finance, is the mandatory publishing platform for all tender notices issued by central government ministries, departments, and attached offices. Any procurement above ₹25 lakh must be published here alongside the procuring entity's own portal. CPPP aggregates notices from over 10,000 procuring entities and is the authoritative single-window for central government contract opportunities.

Types of contracts published

CPPP covers the full range of government contracting: civil and construction works, supply of goods and equipment, IT infrastructure, consultancy services, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), rate contracts, and expression of interest (EOI) notices. Both single-bid (technical and financial combined) and two-bid (technical first, financial second) systems are supported. Corrigenda and addendum notices are published on the same platform, making it essential to monitor even after the original notice is found.

Understanding the bid submission process

CPPP itself is a notice-publication portal; actual bid submission happens on the procuring entity's own e-procurement portal (such as CPWD's or a ministry-specific instance). CPPP notice listings include a hyperlink to the submission portal. Bidders must register separately on the submission portal and hold a valid Class-3 digital signature certificate (DSC) for electronic submission.

How Bidovate helps with CPPP

With over 300–500 new tender notices published on CPPP each working day, tracking relevant opportunities manually is unreliable. Bidovate ingests CPPP feeds in real time, classifies each notice by CPV code, ministry, estimated value, bid deadline, and required pre-qualification criteria such as annual turnover and prior experience. Smart deduplication removes the same opportunity appearing both on CPPP and the ministry portal. Keyword alerts ensure your team sees only the tenders that match your business profile.

Never miss a CPPP tender

Bid India monitors Central Public Procurement Portal in real time and sends your team matched opportunities before the submission deadline.
