nProcure Platform

nProcure is Gujarat's state-run e-procurement platform managing tenders for all Gujarat government departments, PSUs, and urban local bodies outside the NIC GePNIC framework.

Quick answer

nProcure is Gujarat's state-run e-procurement platform managing tenders for all Gujarat government departments, PSUs, and urban local bodies outside the NIC GePNIC framework.

nProcure is the Government of Gujarat's dedicated e-procurement platform developed and operated by Gujarat Informatics Limited (GIL), handling end-to-end tendering for Gujarat state departments, state PSUs, municipalities, and panchayats without using the NIC GePNIC infrastructure.

What is nProcure?

Unlike most Indian states that use GePNIC for their state tender portal, Gujarat developed its own independent platform, nProcure (nprocure.com), operated by Gujarat Informatics Limited under the state government. nProcure manages all stages of the procurement lifecycle for thousands of Gujarat government entities: NIT publication, bid submission with DSC, two-cover evaluation, corrigendum management, and award notifications.

nProcure covers a wide range of procurement, civil works by R&B Department, water supply projects by GWSSB, educational institution supplies, urban development tenders by AMC and SMC, and IT procurement for state government departments. Vendors targeting Gujarat government tenders must register separately on nProcure and cannot reuse their GePNIC credentials from other states.

The platform's interface differs from GePNIC portals, so suppliers accustomed to other state portals will need to familiarise themselves with nProcure's specific workflows. The platform supports Class III DSC-based bid submission, NEFT/RTGS-based EMD payment, and provides tender search, alert, and document download features to registered vendors.

Why nProcure matters for Indian government suppliers

Gujarat is one of India's largest procurement markets by volume, with active tendering in infrastructure, water supply, urban development, and manufacturing sector support. Suppliers operating in or targeting Gujarat's government market must be registered on nProcure as it is the primary portal for state tenders. Cross-state suppliers who monitor multiple portals should add nProcure to their daily monitoring list alongside GePNIC states. Read our state eProcurement portals guide for a comparative overview.

Example

A Gujarat-based construction firm bidding on a GWSSB (Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board) project for rural water supply pipelines registers on nProcure, downloads the NIT and BOQ, attends the pre-bid meeting, and submits their technical and financial covers through nProcure before the bid closing time. EMD of Rs 18 lakh is paid via NEFT and the UTR is uploaded on the portal. The board's TEC opens bids on nProcure on the designated opening date and determines L1.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is nProcure only for Gujarat state tenders?

Yes. nProcure is the portal for Gujarat state government entities. Central government tenders originating from Gujarat (from CPWD, NHAI, railways, defence establishments) are published on their respective central portals (CPPP, NHAI portal, IREPS, DefProc) rather than on nProcure.

Can a supplier registered on GePNIC participate in nProcure tenders without re-registering?

No. nProcure and GePNIC are separate platforms. Registration, user accounts, and DSC configurations are independent. Vendors must complete nProcure registration even if they are already registered on any number of GePNIC-based state portals.

Does nProcure require a DSC for bid submission?

Yes. nProcure requires a valid Class III Digital Signature Certificate for encrypting and submitting bids. The DSC must be from an authorised Certifying Authority and configured on the vendor's registered computer. The platform provides configuration utilities for DSC setup.

Are Gujarat PSU tenders on nProcure or on their own portals?

Gujarat state PSUs like GSPC (Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation), GSFC (Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals), and GIPCL (Gujarat Industries Power Company) typically operate their own procurement portals or use GUVNL's portal for power sector procurement. Smaller PSUs and state corporations may use nProcure. Suppliers should verify the specific portal for each PSU they target.
